If you are looking for some fresh inspiration why not check out Philadelphia? The city has long been known for its food and music scenes, but now we have been hearing exciting news about everything from the development taking place in Fishtown to new acquisitions by the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
We are loving the interior design of Wm. Mulherin’s Sons the restaurant, a year old, serves wood fired pizza and delicious pasta. Above the restaurant is the neighborhood’s first hotel. Interesting boutiques and restaurants have been moving into Fishtown which include: Vestige, Loco Pez, Garage, Kensington Quarters and Frankford Hall. Frankford Hall is a beer garden where you can get a tasty stein of lager and a toasty Bavarian pretzel.
Also, don’t forget to check out Conrad Booker’s latest collection! Conrad Booker is originally from Buffalo but he’s called Philadelphia home for the past 10+ years. He studied architecture prior to moving into fashion design. Designing mostly for women, Booker is inspired by strong women. “Those who view their clothing and handbags as wearable works of art.” We also appreciate that he draws inspiration from the materials found at his home improvement store, Lowe’s.
